Complete Store Terms

Terms governing access, purchases, and automotive electronics use.

The sections below form the Terms of Service for TechRide and should be read together.

01

Store Access and Eligibility

Conditions for accessing and using TechRide.

You may use the store only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. By using TechRide, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement or are using the store with the permission and supervision required by applicable law.

You must not use the store in a way that disrupts its operation, interferes with another user, attempts unauthorized access, introduces malicious code, collects information without permission, or violates applicable law.

  • Do not attempt to bypass security, access restrictions, or technical protections.
  • Do not use automated methods to overload, copy, scrape, or interfere with the store.
  • Do not submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information.
02

Accounts and Customer Information

Your responsibility for information and account security.

When you create an account, submit an order, contact support, or provide information through the store, you agree to provide information that is accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account, except where responsibility cannot legally be assigned to you.

  • Keep login credentials and access devices reasonably secure.
  • Review delivery, billing, contact, and vehicle information before submission.
  • Contact TechRide promptly if unauthorized account activity is suspected.
03

Product Information

How product descriptions and visual information should be interpreted.

TechRide aims to present useful information about automotive electronics and in-car equipment. Product images, descriptions, measurements, specifications, compatibility notes, included accessories, and availability may be updated when corrections or new information become available.

Screens, device interfaces, packaging, accessories, connector layouts, finishes, and displayed vehicle environments may vary. Images are intended to support product understanding but should not replace a review of the written product information.

Minor differences caused by display settings, production updates, lighting, photography, or vehicle-specific installation conditions do not necessarily indicate a product defect.

04

Vehicle Compatibility

Customer responsibilities before selecting automotive equipment.

Automotive electronics are not universally compatible unless a product description expressly provides otherwise. Compatibility can depend on the vehicle year, make, model, trim, dashboard dimensions, factory radio, amplifier, cameras, steering controls, connectors, voltage, data system, sensor format, installation space, and intended function.

You are responsible for reviewing the product information and confirming that the equipment, supporting accessories, and planned installation are appropriate for the vehicle.

  • Do not rely on vehicle appearance or product category alone.
  • Review dimensions, connector formats, voltage, and factory equipment.
  • Ask for support before ordering when important compatibility details remain unclear.
05

Orders and Acceptance

How submitted orders are reviewed and accepted.

An order submitted through TechRide is an offer to purchase the selected products under these Terms. Receipt of an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted or dispatched.

TechRide may review an order for product availability, pricing accuracy, payment authorization, delivery information, suspected fraud, order duplication, legal restrictions, or other legitimate operational concerns.

We may decline or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including when a product is unavailable, information is materially incorrect, payment cannot be authorized, the order appears fraudulent, or fulfillment would violate applicable requirements. When payment has been collected for a cancelled order, an applicable refund will be processed.

06

Pricing and Payment

Price presentation, payment authorization, and corrections.

Prices and available payment options are shown during the shopping and checkout process. Taxes, shipping charges, or other applicable amounts may be displayed separately where required.

You authorize the selected payment method to be charged for the amounts presented at checkout. Payment authorization may be processed by third-party payment service providers subject to their own terms and security procedures.

TechRide may correct obvious pricing, calculation, description, or checkout errors. When a material correction affects an order, we may contact you, request confirmation, or cancel the affected order and process an applicable refund.

07

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping estimates, delivery information, and customer responsibilities.

TechRide’s standard shipping time is 3–5 business days. Delivery timing can be affected by the destination, carrier operations, weather, address issues, public holidays, customs processes, service interruptions, or other circumstances outside TechRide’s reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for ensuring that delivery can be received at that location.

  • Review the recipient name, street address, unit information, city, state, and postal code.
  • Contact TechRide promptly when an address correction is needed.
  • Address changes may no longer be possible after dispatch or carrier handling begins.
08

Order Changes and Cancellations

Requests submitted before or during fulfillment.

Contact TechRide as soon as possible when you need to request an order correction, item change, address update, or cancellation. Requests are reviewed according to the actual fulfillment stage and are not approved until TechRide provides written confirmation.

Once order processing, packing, dispatch preparation, or carrier handling has advanced, requested changes or cancellation may no longer be available.

When an approved cancellation results in a refund, the time required for funds to appear may vary by payment method and financial institution.

09

Installation and Vehicle Safety

Responsibilities for preparation, installation, and operation.

Automotive electronics can interact with vehicle wiring, airbags, restraints, visibility, steering controls, factory data systems, battery circuits, charging systems, cameras, sensors, and other safety-related equipment.

You are responsible for following the product instructions, confirming vehicle-specific requirements, using suitable tools and materials, complying with applicable laws, and obtaining qualified assistance when the work exceeds your knowledge or experience.

  • Do not identify vehicle wiring by color alone.
  • Do not obstruct visibility, controls, airbags, restraints, or safe vehicle operation.
  • Review fuse protection, cable capacity, grounding, ventilation, and electrical loading.
  • Test the planned system appropriately before final vehicle reassembly.
10

Product Use and Legal Compliance

Responsible operation of recording, display, audio, power, and monitoring equipment.

You are responsible for using products lawfully and safely. Rules concerning windshield-mounted devices, recording, privacy, audio levels, driver visibility, screen operation, wireless equipment, lighting, charging, electrical modifications, and vehicle inspections can vary by location.

Do not configure, mount, view, or operate equipment in a manner that distracts the driver, obstructs safe vehicle operation, violates privacy rights, or conflicts with applicable law.

TechRide does not authorize unlawful surveillance, unsafe driving behavior, interference with vehicle safety systems, or prohibited modifications.

11

Store Content and Intellectual Property

Permitted use of TechRide branding and website materials.

The TechRide name, store presentation, original written content, graphics, layouts, interface elements, and other store materials are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may access and use the store for personal shopping and legitimate product research. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, commercially exploit, remove ownership notices from, or create misleading copies of protected TechRide materials without permission or another lawful basis.

12

Third-Party Services

Payment, carrier, platform, and external service limitations.

Parts of the store experience may rely on third-party services, including payment processing, hosting, communications, analytics, fraud prevention, and shipping carriers.

Third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy practices. TechRide is not responsible for independent third-party systems, policies, outages, delays, or actions beyond our reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

13

Errors, Interruptions, and Availability

Corrections, maintenance, and service changes.

The store may occasionally contain typographical errors, incomplete information, outdated availability, technical interruptions, or display issues. TechRide may correct information, update content, limit access, perform maintenance, or modify store functionality when reasonably necessary.

Product availability is not guaranteed until an order is accepted and fulfillment proceeds. Store access may be temporarily interrupted by maintenance, network conditions, service providers, security concerns, or events outside reasonable control.

14

Disclaimer of Warranties

Legal boundaries for the store and product information.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the store and general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis without promises that access will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every vehicle, installation, or purpose.

Product-specific rights, express written warranties, and mandatory consumer protections remain governed by the terms that apply to the particular product and transaction.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15

Limitation of Liability

Allocation of responsibility subject to applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TechRide is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from store use, product selection, unauthorized modification, incompatible installation, misuse, unlawful use, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

TechRide is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect wiring, unsuitable voltage, inadequate fuse protection, improper mounting, blocked ventilation, interference with vehicle systems, unqualified installation, failure to follow instructions, or use outside the intended conditions.

Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed by law and does not limit liability or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

16

Indemnification

Responsibility for unlawful or unauthorized conduct.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or reasonable costs arising from your material violation of these Terms, unlawful use of the store, infringement of another party’s rights, fraudulent activity, or unsafe or unauthorized use of automotive electronic equipment.

This provision does not require you to assume responsibility for conduct caused by TechRide or for obligations that cannot legally be transferred to you.

17

Suspension and Termination

When store access or transactions may be restricted.

TechRide may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the store when reasonably necessary to protect customers, the business, service providers, or store security, or when these Terms or applicable laws are materially violated.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including payment obligations, intellectual property protections, disclaimers, and lawful liability provisions—may remain effective.

18

Governing Principles and Consumer Rights

Interpretation under applicable law.

These Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws applicable to TechRide’s business location in Texas and the United States, except where mandatory laws or consumer protections require a different rule.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights, remedies, jurisdictional protections, or legal procedures that cannot be waived under applicable law.

19

Severability and Entire Agreement

How these Terms are interpreted if one provision is unenforceable.

If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally permitted.

These Terms, together with applicable store policies, product notices, checkout information, and written transaction terms, form the agreement governing your use of TechRide.

20

Changes to These Terms

Future revisions and continued store use.

TechRide may revise these Terms to reflect store updates, product categories, operational changes, legal requirements, security practices, or service developments.

Updated Terms become effective when posted with a revised update date unless another effective date is stated. Continued use of the store after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
